The Privacy officer role is a specially customised role for allowing a non-admin member of staff to view data requests (such as data export or deletion) and to respond to queries. The Mount Orange Privacy officer is also able to accept policies on behalf of students.

Note the site is reset every hour on the hour.

  1. Log in as privacyofficer, password moodle25.
  2. From your dashboard click the Site administration link and explore the following:
      • Data requests: See who has asked for their data to be exported or deleted.
      • Data registry: Check the types of data and their retention periods.
      • Plugin privacy registry: Ensure site plugins are GDPR compliant and see which data they use.
      • Manage policies: View the policies on the site and see who has and has not agreed to them.
      • User agreements: Manually agree to policies on behalf of students. (Important in organisations where some students  are below the digital age of consent.)
