As part of your individual research tasks, choose TWO of the following:

1. Research the history of the educational system in ancient Greece and how it fostered critical thinking skills in students.
2. Look into the contributions of Renaissance thinkers such René Descartes, and John Locke to the development of critical thinking.
3. Investigate the role of the scientific method in promoting critical thinking and how it evolved throughout history.
4. Compare and contrast the different approaches to critical thinking taken by various schools of philosophy, such as existentialism, pragmatism, and phenomenology.
