Dear community,
Mount Orange is now running Moodle LMS 5.3, a Long-Term Support (LTS) release.
Here are some of the changes you'll notice:
- Learning outcomes (Teachers & students): Connect your course and activity design to clear learning outcomes. Each course now has a Learning outcomes page, and outcomes no longer need a scale.
- Feedback from every marker (Teachers & students): When several markers grade an assignment, each marker can now leave their own feedback alongside the overall feedback for the student.
- Quiz due dates (Teachers & students): Quizzes can now have a due date as well as a closing date, so students know when they're expected to finish.
- A clearer layout (Everyone): Pages are centred, icons are refreshed, and Previous and Next buttons help you move through courses that use the Custom sections or Weekly sections formats.
- More choice for AI (Administrators): Anthropic Claude is now available as an AI provider, and the new AI usage report shows how AI features are used across the site and in each course.
