Think, Pair and Share
For example, at the end of a lesson ask students to consider what the 5 key points of the lesson were and write them down. Then ask students to pair with another student (next to them) and of the 10 points between them, to prioritise the top five. The pairs can be then asked to repeat the sharing and prioritising process with another pair. This process can be continued to provide a class list of key points. Alternatively this can be shortcut by asking for one key point from each group, and noting the points on the board. This lesson review process can reinforce the learning undertaken in the lesson or program of work and engages students in team learning. There may be some class discussion on the prioritisation which can add further value to the reviewing process.
