Constructive alignment
Constructive alignment brings together two important ideas. Alignment refers to the coherence and transparency of connections between expectations of what a learner is expected to learn, the methods used to assess the learning, and the teaching and learning activities used. The term 'constructive alignment' indicates that the learner must be actively involved in constructing / developing what they learn.
The concept is invaluable for designing courses and classes etc.
